This short kit includes all the unique precision laser cut balsa parts. You will still need hardware and stock balsa to complete the model.
I drew this in CAD for myself. Soon others wanted the Magician 15, so it seemed popular enough to add to my ongoing list of vintage and obsolete plane kits.
Included are all the unique parts and printed plans. Although these plans are available for download free of charge on the internet, I include them in this listing as full size paper plans saving you the hassle.
This listing is for my services to procure the materials, draw the parts in the CAD program and then cut them out on the CNC laser or CNC router machines as needed. I make no claim to the design of the plane or the original drawings.
What is included for my services are the following physical parts.
3/8” lower half of fuselage (can be two 3/16 halves you laminate or solid 3/8")
3/16” turtle deck (upper half of fuselage)
1/8” rudder
Fourteen 1/16” ribs
1/16” laser cut main wing spar (two sections)
Two 1/8” wing tips
Twelve 1/8” wing tip ribs
Two 1/8” fixed flaps
1/8” horizontal stabilizer
Two 1/8” elevators
1/8” Plywood bell-crank platform
Two 1/16” plywood fuselage doublers

Please Note: this is Not a complete kit!
You will need the following items at minimum
3/8” SQ x 36” Balsa for leading edge
3/16” SQ x 36” Balsa for main spar cap
1/16” x 1” x 36” (2) for trailing edge sheeting
1/16 x 6 x 10 top and bottom center wing sheeting (cut to fit)
1/4" x 3/8” x approx. 6” engine mount hardwood (l like mine a bit longer than the plans show)
2” bell-crank and lead-out wire
Engine mounting hardware
Covering material and fuel proof paint
Landing gear wire 3/32 approx. 8 to 10”
1/16” optional skit wire 4 to 5“ should do it
1 pair of 1.75” wheels (3/32” axle)
.15 Engine is preferred
1-1/2 to 3 oz tank
