New Printed Plans for the Nakajima B5N “Kate” Torpedo Bomber 26” Wingspan Control Line Airplane for .049 / .051
I purchased this to build and was grateful for the plans. However, they were pretty rough so I spend a few days and redrew all the parts. I have produced what I believe are nice, clean and accurate plans of the original. The purpose of this exorcise was to be able to cut the parts out with the laser. I have successfully done so and now offer these to others who wish to do a scratch build with accurate drawings.
Please ask any questions before purchasing. Image #3 is for color scheme illustrative purposes and is not intended to offer the actual model.
You will receive two tabloid sized 11 x 17 inch plans similar to what is shown in image # 1 and #2 and a 8x11 copy of the color scheme. Because of the nature of the item and for obvious reasons, item is not returnable.
Because of the low price, I will mail this to you USPS First Class mail without tracking.
Shipping with tracking available if desired for a nominal charge.

The Nakajima B5N (Japanese: ?? B5N, Allied reporting name "Kate") was the standard carrier-based torpedo bomber of the Imperial Japanese Navy (IJN) for much of World War II.
Although the B5N was substantially faster and more capable than its Allied counterparts, the American Douglas TBD Devastator monoplane (the U.S. Navy's first all-metal, carrier-borne monoplane of any type with retracting gear), and the British Fairey Swordfish and Fairey Albacore torpedo biplanes, it was nearing obsolescence by 1941. Nevertheless, the B5N operated throughout the whole war, due to the delayed development of its successor, the B6N.
In the early part of the Pacific War, when flown by well-trained IJN aircrews and as part of well-coordinated attacks, the B5N achieved particular successes at the battles of Pearl Harbor, Coral Sea, Midway, and Santa Cruz Islands.[2][3]

Disclaimer Regarding Model Kit Reproduction Services
My services are limited strictly to the reproduction of parts for obsolete and discontinued model airplane kits based on plans provided by or can be easily sourced by the customer. These services involve the laser-cutting and/or CNC routing of balsa and plywood components and, where applicable, printing of building plans for the convenience of modelers.
I make no claim of ownership, authorship, or copyright over any original model designs, kit instructions, or intellectual property related to the aircraft plans used. All original design rights remain the property of their respective creators or rights holders.
My offerings are intended solely to support the building and preservation of vintage model aircraft by providing a convenient means for hobbyists to reproduce hard-to-find parts.
